What is the absolute minimum of $f(x)$ ? $\left (\answer {\sage {p1absxmin}},\answer {\sage {p1absmin}}\right )$ .

Remember: To find the absolute extrema we need to find the local extrema, then test them all along with the endpoints to discover which one has the lowest (most left on the numberline) value and that will be our absolute minumum.

What is the absolute maximum of $f(x)$ ? $\left (\answer {\sage {p1absxmax}},\answer {\sage {p1absmax}}\right )$ .
